I was at GameStop here on the 19th and they had no idea of a US release. Back in this morning and they still have no idea. I will not buy a download from Steam.

it doesn't matter whether you buy it online or off the shelf you will still have to go through Steam and get a Steam account to play the game.

Crap, that's real great to hear. I have a Steam account for Just Flight, SH5, and a couple other sims that are no longer installed. I don't care for Steam at all but if it's needed for Cliffs of Dover, I guess I'll have to go that route.

Why is everything that's any good need to go thru Steam these days? I do know one thing tho..... it'll be the last thing I buy with UBI's name on it.

Have you played or tried to play COD?
I have supported and bought every IL-2 release but COD is horrible. All are bugged which is something we are not new to but this one is particularly rotten.
Alot are really looking forward to any patch for this pile and I just saw where some info on progress was posted. Nah, nothing of importance but of his kid playing a banjo.
That was a swift kick to the nads and really stirred up the nest. Me, Nah, I am a old school veteran gamer and having my expectations stomped on is routine.
COD has terrible graphics, puke pea soup looking colors topped off by bad stutters and the fix is to turn all the graphics to their lowest settings and get a 3 gig card.
I bought it 2 days ago and have already deleted it. I will check back in a year or two but No, seeing how many others have wasted 50 bucks is not something that I wasnt to inflict on myself.
