SSW PA-200 "Tornado" is ready for the sky.

I don't suppose anyone knows how to remove the canopy jack? I've read the manual (what little of it, still wip I assume) and don't know how to remove it so I can close the canopy and fly!

pretty nice so far tho

Hi,
the "Canopy bar" will remove when you close the canopy using the handle on the right. Use your mouse wheel, because it is a three states handle. First state you will hear a continuos sound and the canopy close, second state (all the way foward) the canopy is locked. When you trigger the canopy closure, the "bar" will automatically disappear.
Best Regards
Emanuele

As I said previously, the canopy support is only required when no pressure in system ( a fault ) and when in for servicing (again no pressure in system).

In everyday operations with the system having been pressurised there is no need for the bar and default key operation should be all that is needed as in many other modelled aircraft.

It just looks daft as it is.

Did anyone manage to fix the prompts keep appearing when I start FSX for the following:
(wsc_client.dll / panavia.dll).

In this moment we are testing a stabile version for FSX,while keeping on p3d v2.5 (and later 3.x) versions.
We are working very hard,as we will give on next releases 10 free add-on liveries (mostly UK and Germany),new lights effects, multiplayer stability and other features and tuning.
Thanks,
Ale

Hi all,
SSW is glad to inform that the testing of both versions is almost accomplished.
Not later than Saturday 19 we will release 1.2 version for FSX (& FSX steam) and 2.0 version for Prepare 3d 2.5.
Free "10 pack" liveries included and multiplayer "ubuntu" optimized for both simulators.
Bye,
Alessandro

Pluto12 thak you very much for this great news.
Have you made any correction to the external model of the new version release or everything still the same?

How to proper install now this new version? I see its a full version, not a patch.
I must download again Terrain and Map files if I have it?

From SSW webpage (FSX):

LIveries 1.2.0
Base files 1.2.0
Core files 1.2.0
Terrain files 1.0.0 + 1.0.1
Map files 1.0.0

Hi,
Map Files and Terrain Files are the previous ones.
The other file are the new version 1.2. SO you need to download and install the new liveries, base and core files.

Is any new fix? Hmmm... On the webpage ( http://www.simskunkworks.com/store/index.php ) I see info like this: SSW PA 200 1.2.1 FOR FSX/SE

But in download section is 1.2.0 for FSX (or its a mistake in digits?).

Hi,
Yes, there is th 1.2.1 for FSX, it is just an Incremental version, you can find the installer on the left column under "upgrade to higher version", we have corrected others bugs and implemented the IFF

Just for info. In the last time I receive strange and new kind of CTD of FSX (mostly on the exit of sim) with: libcef.dll (so no any known OOM or g3d.dll).
I never meet it before. I noticed that it exists only when I use the Tornado in long flight (+1h). Didn't find any news or solution for this in the Net and finally I found this libcef.dll, it is in the package of model (\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimSkunkWorks\WebSimBrowser\CEF4FSXP3DXP.39\32). Im not sure about the reason of this CTD and libcef.dll problem. I hope it will be solved in the future or maybe its only on my system? Don't know ;). I added this info on SSW support Forum but I wrote it here to ask the others (just remember only in long flight). Edit: as I see They working on it. Best regards!

:wavey:

I am about to note this also on the SSW forum. I have been getting the same CTD of WebSimBrowser, but mine always happens while my flight is loading. It has the same faulting module; libcef.dll. Once I tried to manually restart the websimbrowser after it had crashed, but it said libcef.dll was missing, even though I can see it in my SSW folder.

I need to do some more testing also, but it has only started occurring when I changed my scenery.cfg to one with many more sceneries applied. It may be a coincidence, but with this current scenery.cfg I have also noticed a strange appearance (or disappearance) of the mesh while looking at the flight planner map. The mesh/terrain will sometimes totally disappear and show just blue ocean around my aircraft on the map screen. I have noticed this mesh issue before installing the SSW Tornado, but have no idea what is causing it. It seems to be some sort of corrupted mesh in a particular scenery.

Cheers,

Just got this, together with the F-104G on SSW sale, and must say I was pleasantly surprised. Very enjoyable and all systems I tried worked fine. Must try the TF soon. Very good work there SSW!
