The wait is killing me, it looks amazing:jump:

Edit: which is the latest released package?

Well, I hope you survive for the release, shouldn't be long... The last package out is 80 AI ships and Ship Traffic from june last year

I have a question, I have installed all the AI packages up to and including the 179 ships.
I don't see any ships in the Persian Gulf, does anyone else see these ships?

I have run the conversion thing for the FS9. The only other AI in the area that I know of is the one that comes with the Aerosoft F-14 Kitty Hawk.
I see AI ships out in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. Any ideas?

I've just had a look Joe Bob. Went to OOKB then across to the Straights of Hormuz and picked up 3 ships straight away.. 2 northbound, the other, southbound. Checking on Traffic Toolbox, there were another 27 ships active in the area.

Thanks for checking Dave.
I have loaded the 179 files several times thinking perhaps I had made a mistake, I am out of Ideas.
I wonder if the Aeorsoft AI could be interfering with it. I don't know that that would muck up the entire Gulf though.

I dunno mate. I have the AS F-14 too so whatever it installed is also active here. Have a look in your scenery/world/scenery folder. I have 59 traffic files for Arabia starting with traffic_Ships_Arabia_Bahrain ending with traffic_Ships_Arabia_suez. I think my ship traffic is around 80-85% on the slider.. perhaps higher. I used to have it at 100% but this produced unsightly gatherings of ships (default ship traffic) at places like Portsmouth (England) and pulling the slider back reduced their numbers.

joe bob..

The 6 files you have are the only ones included in the 179 Ships set. The remainder for Arabia are in the 130 Ships set. I have all of Henrik's sets installed which, if you're a fan of shipping, is the only way to go;)

EDIT: JB.. the ship sets aren't cumulative.. that is, the 179 Ships set won't give you 179 ships unless you have Henrik's other volumes installed. Hope that makes sense;)

Thanks Dave, you have been a great help. I thought I had installed all of them. I did it all in one go so I was pretty cross eyed towards the end. I will give the 130 ship file a look

No problem JB:encouragement: I can understand having cross eyes at the end.. especially if you're trying to install them in sequence along with the couple of patches. Easy to miss one and think you have them all:very_drunk:

The new package 86 AI Ships and AI Ship Traffic is now available on avsim.com at :

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxscen&DLID=194626

The package contains around 30 ferry routes from Europe and Canada plus a lot of other new models and updated and intensified traffic - in particular for the Eastern part of the Mediterranean, the North Sea, the Northern part of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Baltic Sea - but there are also updates for Asia and South America like this Brazilian minesweeper

Thanks for your help with the Oldies - I have corrected the paints as well as time allowed and included them as an extra in the pack even if only one of the Victory class ships the American Victory is activated on routes (it is the one currently based in Tampa as museum ship); but now at least they can get out in the sun instead of being laid up on my computer... For the rest of you... The pack contains several different models and repaints of Victory class and T2 class tankers, which can be activated either with AIBTC or AICarriers.
