I have been 'missing in action' too for awhile. Reason (among other things) is that I had to undergo a nasty hospital exam.

For those of you nearing 50 you may want to skip my report, I don't want to install traumas (like I have).... but if you're past it already and maybe have undergone some ugly stuff yourself, you may get a grin out of my ordeal which I reported on here: http://flightsimplaza.com/fsblog/?p=794 :friday:

Francois, you are a wimp!
:173go1:
What really gives you the sweats is AFTER the test results come in and you find out you have Prostate Cancer (aka Jimmy Dancer as we Aussies say).......... that certainly will grab your attention!
Not this time (excellent news) but in the future who knows?????
Hopefully that is something you will avoid, been there, done that, got the scars.
:kilroy:

dude, i have been through some rather invasive procedures myself, but i had to stop reading part way through. you have my most sincere sympathy:wavey:

First, I'm glad to hear that you are disease free - that's the important part.

Second - your traumatic ordeal WAS painful to read and reminds me of my vasectomy experience - fondly known as "the day my balls blew up".

:help:

i had a proceedure where the urologist put a tube up my yingyang and pumped me full of water as well....he also stuck a "probe" up my backside at the same time..he didnt warn me of this and just pushed it in....oi....when it was time to rid myself of the ..what seemed like gallons ..of water he pumped into me....i couldnt go and the nurse came in and tried to help..i asked how in the world you gonna help me and she took me in her hand and started to..ummm "milk" me...i said that aint helpin...maybe another time please....

Don't worry. If I had wanted to take it too serious, I wouldn't have blogged about it .... I'm just glad I survived... and no, I'm NOT going back !!! :faint:

I've had the same procedures stemming from mysterious abdominal pain. I guess I shouldn't have eaten all the kebab all over the middle east.

It was pretty crappy, you got that right. I haven't been that humiliated or miserable in a long time. It reminds me of when I was a little kid being forced to go on a roller coaster or something I didn't want to---MULTIPLIED BY A MILLION.

I still have nightmares about the first time I peed after the front end scope was done. The feeling of folds of skin I didn't know I had reversing themselves....okay I'll stop.:faint:
