• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The new project from AH

That's the right hand side....

BTW, do you think it's ok for a Senior Admin to call another member a "bloody muppet" ?

No, only when I've had a Senior Moment.:banghead:
I realised we were on about two different areas of the airframe..........sorry about that!
But I did find a shot that shows the 'around the fuselage reinforcing'.
From a trawl through several Mosquito references it seems that the 'reinforcing bar' was something of an afterthought on certain models, probably as Dimus mentioned.
And of course, they were built in several plants in England, as well as Canada and Australia.

There were a couple of models that did have the reinforcing bar on both sides, such as the models that were modified to use the "highball" bouncing bomb.

Nobody panic, We're still in beta. Simple fix. We do textures differently in a modular grouped system so it doesn't take much to change.:engel016:

That's good news Bazzar, I know a lot of people here are eagerly waiting for this model!

Normally I merge all shading layers in to one when I'm finished with shading. After that it becomes difficult (at least for me) to remove a part without leaving tracks.

Looking very good so far! Albeit we have a good freeware bomber Mosquito, a decent Fighter Bomber gun nose Mosquito has been sorely missed for FSX/P3D. For me the FB model is the Mosquito. I guess it has formed me from a young age as the Royal Norwegian Air Force only used the FB during and after the war and because the operations flown along the Norwegian coast by the RAF during the war were with a few exceptions with FB marks.

Looking forward to paint some Norwegian war and postwar schemes!
