Weather event made my flight

I had an amazing flight a few weeks ago in my A2A 172 Cessna. I had purchased San Carlose airport from FTX Orbx just southeast of KSFO and of course wanted to do some flying in the area. Decided to fly over to the coastline and follow it up to the Golden Gate Bridge and back to San Carlose. I had REX running as well for weather. My departure weather was some broken clouds with great visibility. Upon flying over the hills towards half moon bay I was met with zero visibility fog! I navigated far enough off shore to make sure I had no encounters with solid surfaces. I then turned North and gained elevation. Once above the fog bank I took a look back and this is what I saw! Absolutely amazing as the fog is moving through the hillsides.

Here is another shot as you can see the fog does not make it to KSFO inland

Concerning the weather I am very much looking forward to the new REX Skyforce which is in final developement.
Furthermore HiFi are about to release there AS16 and ASCA.

Exciting times...

i didn't know about Skyforce! Just looked it up and hard to believe some of the effect in this release. I also saw a picture of a Tornado? Is this correct? Very excited!

I think this is one one the best things with all Flight Sims, the striving to generate the weather and it is really coming up PEACH's almost the colour of your Cessna , get the real world turbulence added, switch the lights off, grab a pen torch for the map in hand .. just so you know your on the right track ... SUPER COOL :encouragement:

AS16 and ASCA are available at simMarket and FSPilotshop now. ASCA is $10.00 USD off right now, for a limited time, ($19.99USD.) AS16 is available as full install separate packages for FSX and P3D, or as upgrades for each. The P3D packages are more expensive, I think to cover the work they foresee keeping up with P3D's constant upgrades. Seems the upgrade packages don't care where you originally bought your Active Sky, (upgrades from 3 past versions, ASE, AS2012, or ASN,) as it looks for your past installation, or will ask for your key to one of them if not installed.

Active sky cloud art is compatible with, and will integrate with all present weather engine texture sets and brands. The videos are awesome.

Downloading my copy of ASCA now. Going to REX to see the Skyforce info next. :encouragement::running:
