The "lw" or "lwd" indicate Lindsey Watt's creations

Could you please be a bit more specific about what scenery package is giving you this trouble?

This usually indicates just a simple: **** error

However all the "inf_" items are stock CFS2 files

Taking a educated guess: open the SCENEDB / inf / scenery folder & delete the "filelist.dat" & allow it to be regenerated the next time you load CFS2.

One other thing comes to mind .... how many files are in the OBJECTS_DP folder? You may have gone over the limit if you have one large multi-install.

Seems that my install is having fun with me. Now all the objects are there. I was getting some off "this scenery object will not load" with odd number scripts attached before these started popping up. I was zooming from on airfield to another, and maybe all that scenery load just made CFS2 say, "I give up! make up your bloomin mind!":friday:

I recommend you get and install all the Linsdsay Watt / LW / LWD Library Objects and Trees packages. They are commonly used in many of the scenery packs coming out. Be sure to place the contents of the Objects DP and SceneDB folders in the correct folders in your game. In the SceneDB/Inf/Scenery folder, be sure to delete the filelist.dat file there. Linsay always includes an "add to mdlnames" text file, just copy the info there and paste it onto the bottom of your mdlnames.text file. Once all that is done, start the game and allow the program to build new filelist.dat files. I'd recommend shutting the dame down again and then restarting and fly. I often get "cannot find..." weapons errors on the first startup and restarting again prevents this. You should be good after that.

I hopes this helps M8 :ernae:

I seem to average about 1400 object_dp files in my Objects_DP folder.

The stock CFS 2 Objects_DP folder before updates is right at 426 files.

1781 files. No big issues. If CFS2 start to wig out I just back out the the main menu in CFS2 and start up the sim again.
