Hiya,

First off all, big thanks to all involved in creating this bird!! :applause::applause::applause:

Started on my first repaint, of the ZU-8 VIP livery of the RNLAF. These have anti-glare black painted on the inside of there engines, there i ran into a mapping problem.

Don't know how easy this is to fix?

Regards,

Marcel

PS
Just find out that the cowl-flaps are also mapped in a way you can not make a different inside and outside repaint of the engines. Hope this also can be fixed, else i've to become very creative with this repaint ;-)

Now that there are some shots of alternative cockpit textures...I've been quietly picking away at this one through the beta testing.
I'm still working on alpha and spec/alpha levels, but it feels good at this stage.

I ran into the same thing when applying the manufacturer decals to the engine cowls. There is a fix, but it needs to be done using the actual model. The UVW map needs to be modified, adding dedicated left and right mesh for the engines. Right now the engines share the same map.

Thank you Hanimichal. Coming from you that is indeed a compliment.

I don't fly FSX any longer, but still keep FSX ST installed for beta testing aircraft and scenery.

These shots are taken in ST, using the same setup as in P3D, time of day, location, light direction etc. These are DX10 for comparison, but I'll post up some DX9 shots too.

FSX ST DXT10 enabled for comparison with P3D light dynamics.
