Just a bit about this scenery as I get ready to upload it this morning:
It has been tested in FSX/Accel, P3D_V2.4 and P3D_V3.3. All Custom objects are contained in the scenery folder, no outside objects are required. I have also placed default objects and everyone should have those. There is no separate P3D version and there won't be. Seasonal ground textures will be added as I get time to do those and uploaded here. There is no night texture. This is a private field, permission is required in order to land there. . .no rwy lights or field lights so no night texture. It was not necessary for me to use a flatten, the ground was relatively smooth and after all. . .this is a grass runway. I wanted to add grass but honestly, I am still not happy with anything I have designed, even after getting some favorable results and help from Gordon. . . .so no grass. All the hangars are empty and free to use to get your aircraft out of the weather. There are parking spots, taxi ways and a fuel trigger but no AI traffic. . .I'm not a traffic guy but if you are adept at designing traffic, please do.
The image below should come with this caveat: I'm using Orbx Basic and Vector Basic with the latest North America Land Class installed, LCSim_Mesh for the US and autogen sliders maxed. FPS maintains around 30 locked to 60-70 Unlimited. Considering the almost unlimited variations for each simmer in ground textures, terrain mesh, autogen settings, etc. . .your results may vary.
A final note. . .even though I built it, it was not an easy airport to spot from the air, despite seeing it on GPS. There are a lot of trees it that region so get your bearings early in the approach (Bangor Int'l is 8nm east, off of 95). There are cones on each end of the rwy as well as on either side of the narrow area shrouded by trees on the 36 end. Fun Air Field to fly into. Enjoy!
One final note: I have never, ever found a decent Wind Sock that is animated. Despite my better judgement I allowed myself to place the default wind sock in this scenery. Personally, I think it detracts from an otherwise decent scenery offering but it's the only windsock that works and I knew if I used the much nicer looking but static version I built I'd hear about it. . .so you have an ugly wind sock. Sorry 'bout that, lol
