Latest update of yesterday - caused me all sorts of problems - wiped out my USB 3 drivers. Getting into windows with the inevitable reboot was near impossible. Had to resort to an old fashioned non USB keyboard and the mouse would not work at all. That was fun trying to maneuver through windows using keyboard. Restore would not work. Repair not working either. Finally ended up going back to Win 8.1. Won't be revisiting W10 unless I have a stroke. :pop4:

After the latest WinX (unwanted!) updates my Saitek X-52 controller didn't work anymore, though the rudder pedals functioned as normal. After a long search for solutions and downloading the latest MadCatz software & drivers for it, the driver software didn't want to install properly. The final solution was to name the controller just "USB-device" (and not Saitek x-52 etc.), then all was working as it should. Wonder what will be the next problem with FSX after installing the upcoming (forced) WinX updates. Suppose it will last at least 2 years :).......

I have my laptop that runs Win10 and have been blocking the anniversary update due to all the issues. Scanned the net yesterday for news and it looks like there are still issues, such that the InfoWorld PC
guy recommends to still block getting it. They've made progress but still not ready for prime-time according to him.

Never had a problem with W10 or its updates. I remember this same anti-Windows garbage when Microsoft released XP, Vista, W7, W8, 8.1 and now W10.

I wasn't being anti anything. What peeved me off was the loss of 6 hours trying and failing to fix the problem, then of course the added aggravatio nand more lost time going back to 8.1 and the subsequent having to reinstall everything. So I kind of resent your response, I have better things to be doing with my time. Still, I hope everything goes just swimmingly for you. :encouragement:
