Name the Plane (?) (Please)

HI,

I can't recognise this plane, can anyone offer a suggestion, or even better, a definitive answer? I was thinking it was a BBJ, but the wing chord and tail plane chord seem very large.

it looks a bit like the Baade 152 a design of a jet airliner from the old East Germany. Looking at the picture again is it of a real aeroplane? The tail surfaces look improbable, more like from a missile. Does the original Google earth picture give the GPS coordinates?
 
This looks like a training spot for fireman. You have a Boeing 747 look-alike a AMS as well.

The hull of that aircraft looks suspiciously like a Boeing 747. My guess is with marijn's observation, I have read about aircraft such as this being used for anti-terrorism training also.

Thanks guys, I think you have all hit the nail on the head. It is taken at RAAF Base Pearce, and according to the net there is a mock 747 on the base which is used for counter-terrorism training. It has two inoperable engines and a fictional "Emu Airlines" livery. I actually read (briefly) about the mockup 747 before, but didn't connect the dots. It looks so much like a functional aircraft from the top view, apart from the tail plane.

It's the same 747 Fuse and weird double-pod inboard engines that you will see on a hundred episodes of Top Gear. Nothing crazy. It has been in a bunch of movies. Just look for any movie using "Air Force One" on the ground and you will likely see that thing. It's been in a Bond movie and I think was in "London has fallen" at least.
 
There is a certain army unit based just down the road which "could" use that as a out of sight to public eyes to "possibly" conduct "counter terrorism" training

Its not for fire fighting training, the lack drains is a dead give away

Its an interesting configuration. It looks to have two cockpits, one for storming a conventional fuselage and cockpit (A320, 737, etc) and another for an upper deck cockpit (B747, A380, etc.).

I stand corrected. Oops. I think the pixilation of the first pic made me thing it had the double-pod engines like the thing parked that you see on Top Gear.

But, very interesting topic in any case. Neat find.

Can not be a 747 for I work on them in Everett Wash. For one the wings are to short, second the 747 had 4 engines and the top section is to long and does not have front windows in it. I worked in the engineering dept. at the plant back in the 60's

You did the same thing I did I think. Read the whole thread and you will see what it is.
 
This is what the unit at Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport, shown from the air in post 3 looks like on the ground.

The front should represent a 747 and the rear a MD-11. I had to dig for the pictures as they were taken during a training over 10 years ago....
