Strange plane needed

I just started a new CFS-2 on a new drive, copying an older installation for MOST files. However I just loaded the "Malta Spitfire" from the self-installer, but already on the first mission it cannot find Hurricanemk1_LC-FS. I checked on the old drive (where it has run before) and no such plane - but I do note, that the missions do call for it. I've searced our library, but didn't find it. Do anyone have such a plane? May I please have it?:dizzy:

Finn,

Something must have gone wrong on the installation. I checked every single mission, and the aircraft you mentioned is never called for. I don't know where to help!

...my 2 cents here. Could this be part of the Aeroplane heaven Hurricanes that were converted by Gavin? IIRC there was a slew of planes in that 4 part series.

Fibber,

Nope...I only use the older freeware set that CFS2-specific and multi-lod. The Gavinc conversions are not. As I said, I just checked all three parts of the Malta Spitfire auto-installer just to be safe.

This is what appears in the mission file - strange?

Finn,

That's not strange...that's one of the four Hurricanes that's generated from the Battle of Britain package. The first one you listed confused the hell out of me.

Now this makes sense. But here's the issue, you must have either a beta or a very old version of the auto-installer. The version here at SOH and at my site now have a different, simpler Hurricane package that is used.

Big thank

Great that so many excellent people allways help - and allways VERY fast. Thanks a lot. I'll delete the version in question, and dl the new one.

ALMOST RIGHT...l

......well I guess my 2 cents of the AH planes was halfway right. Just wrong attribution.:biggrin-new:
