Seem some time back there was an Australian group that completely restored a Connie flying it back to Australia. There was a video or TV show about it. The group is called the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society. Here is a short YouTube video of the Connie. Click HERE!!!

Yeah HARS have it as one of their major show pieces and fly it out of Wollongong (YWOL) its a shame A2A did model any of the long nose Connies

Now, it's done. Nothing else to wish for anymore.

Oh,wait! Wasn't there a PMDG DC-6 on short final also ?...

If there ever was a Merry Christmas this one sure is !!! :santahat:

Btw, nice screenie, Matt ! Is there anything manmade more beautiful and esthetically pleasing flying thru the air than this ??.... Personally i can't think of anything..

Cheers,
Jan

Milviz was hoping for a 2016 release for the beaver but now it looks doubtful.

What about an updated illuminated VC C47!!!!!!

The Connie is fantastic,by the way.

Happy christmas everybody.

Chris

This is a very merry X-mas!

My family just got it for me. A quick flight with 2 touch and go's and a full stop landing, this thing is a work of art! My first two landings were not terrible but not great but my last landing was a greaser. It'll take a bit of getting used to for sure.
Thanks to A2A for getting the Connie to us this Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas!
