Polish North Pole - EPSU scenery

Good day,

I have just uploaded to SOH my newest project, aerodrome of Suwalki Flying Club located in NE Poland, which is called our "North Pole" sice there are the lowest temperatues is the whole country (maybe excluding Tatra Mountains ;) )
The scenery features:
- hi res. object textures based on original photos
- 1m/pix photo texture with seasonal variations
- Flying Club objects + Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (Rescue) hangar
- vector drawn landclass for the city, Wigry lake and forests
- scenery switcher, as the fsx trees don't handle seasonal changes, located in the aerodrome folder
- two versions of the afcad file (with "classic" runways and with "clean" photoscenery - so the width is set to 0 meters)
- apron and aerodrome road done in 3D using superb tutorial by Bill Womack (thanks, Bill!!)

Have fun,

Lucas:wave:

:D Thanks!

Bill, those bunnies were animated using "ambient" animation key. However, they were running too fast, so I decided to leave the "static objects" :d They are placed somewhere around the aerodrome.

The way you're building all these airfields Lucas, I'll never be leaving Poland soon:costumes::applause:

Thank you again. I want to create another aerodromes in the N part of the country, including Olsztyn and Ketrzyn. The last one should be familiar for those of you interested in the WW2 history, since the "Wolf's Lair" was located nearby.

PS: I've uploaded it to Avsim and Simviation. Hopefully it will be availble soon.

Lucas

That's ok, Roger. We have good beer here, and girls are pretty... :welcome:

Lucas - stunning work, as usual :applause:

Ha ha, I know,
We have Polish girls working at my workplace and some of them are very pretty:engel016: but as they are all good Catholics...they are good girls too:naturesm:

Got it Lucas, another superb job, my third piece of Polish scenery for FSX from your stable. :applause:

Caz

You know, of all of the aircraft from FS9 that I ported over, Manuele Villa's SVA series are the only ones that get frames rates on par with FSX native aircraft. As far as I know, I have changed nothing either, merely installed it raw and then my repaints. Flying Lucas's scenery in perfect Spring clear skies gave me 45 fps constant. And one has to admit, they are exquisitely beautiful in FSX! :applause:

Thank you Cazzie! Iam glad that you like the scenery. Yes, Manuelle's SVA is a masterpiece!
If you like vintage aviation (i know you do!) make sure you have both floatplane base in Puck and old Warsaw aerodrome called "Pole Mokotowskie" or Mokotow Airfield. Both were created even before WW1, so they are some dedicated places to start with your favourite old bird. You can found them on avsim. Search for "Lukasz Kubacki".

Thanks again!
Lucas

Caz,
Both of Oliver Fischer's models give excellent frame rates in FsX.

Oh Roger, you just know that Herr Fischer's Bu-131 is in all three of my sims! :ernae:

And Lucas, I already have the Pole Mokotowskie aerodrome. :applause: But I went to get Puck from AvSim this morning and all lines were busy. I shall try again at a more opportune time.

It looks fantastic Lucas!
Unfortunately i have to reinstall FSX and everything else. I'm installing the whole day but there is no end in sight...:faint:
Anyways, thanks, great work again and i'm looking forward to fly there!
