I've been doing a "walkabout" flight in the Gee Bee on and off and picked it up again last night in Oban, Scotland. I took off from there and headed in the general direction of Prestwick to fly over my old stomping grounds in the Holy Loch/Dunoon area. After a leisurely 250kias, buzz down Lock Eck, and then Holy Loch, as I was coming out of the mouth of the loch, I spotted this ol' tall ship sailing up the Clyde towards Glasgow. I buzzed it and then headed on to Prestwick.

Those still are my stomping grounds, right now I'm sitting about 1/2 a mile from whats left of the US Navy Pier in Gourock

Virtual tribute to the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation, whose C-97 just recently flew again for the first time following many years of restoration and maintenance work, joining their C-54. Hopefully a similar sight will be seen for real in the coming years. Thank you to Mike Flahault and Manfred Jahn for the aircraft, and to Jeansy and Jankees for the repaints.

im humbled you downloaded John
