• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Trackir profile/settings?

Hi guys just started using my trackir 4 & the track clip pro with OFF. Can i ask what profile do u guys select, default flight or do u use a custom profile? Any recommended setting to use within the trackir software? I've noticed one or two custom profiles for other games but not 4 OFF.....

That's because OFF is a patch like MAW, ETO, PTO. therefore there can be no profile, unless you customize the default, I've found it works pretty well box stock

Got mine a couple of days ago. I just created a new profile named Over Flanders Fields and gave it the default settings. Works great with no tweaking.

Update the software to its last patch. The one in the box is not up to date. Then you will find a 6DOF file for cfs3. Works like charm for OFF.
 
I created a new profile and called it cfs3. I changed mine to how i like it and then selected it as my default profile in the trackir menu so i can use it for all my different flying sims.
 
I use the 'smooth' profile for all except the following...'aggressive' for x-axis and 'dead zone' for y-axis
