I was going to say, thats not a stock ND B105, i must well done, its a welcome improvement as i do agree its lacking the gunship version, just 2 m60s is pretty plain, Ive always contemplating doing something similar to just paint some gunship schemes
 
I just want to know how you guys are uploading full size screenshots. The attachment way doesn't work for me, size and detail wise.

I use ImageShack (costs around $29.00+/- annual sub) which allows me to copy/paste full size images into a post.
Not sure about the 'free' image hosting services but others use them.

Missing images

I've noticed on my PC and those at my work, that when I view these pages a lot of images now don't appear, my own included. For example I don't see any of MD Ivey's pics, and that's a lot of pics. Is anyone else seeing (not seeing) this?


Ah! Just a minute, it might have something to do with fsfiles.org, as I've just tried getting on there and got a error 522 connection timed out!
 
I think the problem is with fsfiles.org... it's a part of AussieX I believe and didn't I read they'd been hacked? May be related to that.

I flew in a Beverley back in '65 with the Air Training Corps at Thorney Island. Unforgettable, especially as the vibration was such that I couldn't focus, so God knows how the pilot could see his instruments!:engel016: A beautifully ugly aircraft and I am soo looking forward to this:santahat:

I used to see them regularly flying into Northolt. I was also lucky and saw the one that flew into Hendon and became part of the RAF Museum. I think that may have been the last flight.
 
"Beautifully ugly aircraft," that's an apt description. Mind you, not the ugliest - that prize would surely go the similarly configured French NC211 "Cormoran". While the Beverley had many faults it could pack all kinds of outsize cargo, military and humanitarian, and deliver it where it needed to go. For pallet dropping the plane often flew with its loading doors removed. Anecdotally, a Beverley once took off from Aden with the rear doors off and ATC, who had not seen this type of aircraft before, called out to the pilot “You’ve taken off and you forgot to close the rear doors”. "Yes, thanks, I know," the pilot replied, "I can’t get the bloody gear up either."
 
That thing looks like a great big fat tadpole... LOL.

Had they been able to configure retractable landing gear for it... it may have not come across as quite so ugly...:biggrin-new:
