Hi all,

Side tracking here a bit. I was looking for some back-light gauges and came across this file @ flightsim. Fal50c2.zip
FALCON 50 CAEA- FS2002pro version - 1970's Dassault Aviation business jet.

Was taken aback by the quality in this old model. The *.mdl is a Fs 98. A *.Dll file and not a riff like the ones in Fs7 and forwards.
The animations work plus the "light masks" for night flying.
Sometimes going backwards is the correct direction for cfs2. Just saying. Sorry for the long load times on the pictures (png) but me thinks it's worth it.

Dave,

Very nice find. You might have it working OK in FS98, but its actually a model designed for FS2002 Pro...just saying.

Did I say these screenies are in CFS2? :redface-new: Ummm, no I didn't. Lately there's this misconception in my head that everyone can read my mind. :playful:
The title should have had "Pretty Amazing for Fs 98 model in Cfs2.
It's true it has been updated to fs2002, but after taking a look a look under the hood this is what was there.

MDL610.MOD ImportTable Linkage
Aircraft Animator (C)1999-2001 Konstantin Kukushkin
(C) Abacus Software, Inc.

Having seen this, I just assumed the mdl was Fs98.
Especially the Aircraft Animator statement. That's some old software.
It's just a hunch.
I hope I interpreted your message correctly...
Anywho, that's the story. At least there is some nice night lit gauges. :redfire:

Take Care Bc,
Dave

Thinking FS2000 as I don't think working gauges in the VC where a thing tell CFS1.

You certainly did not, but neither did I. Actually I thought the screenshots were from FS98 and was amazed at what seemed to be perfect backwards compatibility of this FS2002 model.
