Windows 10 Pro Optimization for P3Dv4?

Is there a guide for Windows 10 Pro Optimization for P3Dv4? Just curious, some say leave it as is, others say to tweak it. I just got a new system on Friday with an i7-8700K CPU, 32gb Memory, Nvidia GTX 1080 8GB (VR Ready) but I'm new to W10 Pro. Got my new system after my previous rig was taken out by a lightning strike over a week ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same CPU. I have tried tweaking. However, I find that just leaving it alone works just fine.

Just reload Win 7 pro 64..........:biggrin-new:

I'm just going to stick it out with W10 as I have new programs that will only work with that OS. Still, I hate my old system got hit bit lightning (it was W7) and getting used to W10 is definitely quite different.

No one likes to have to start learning a new OS, but you'll love what Windows 10 does for the performance of any rig!

Cheers,

Priller

PS: I'm in the leave it alone camp as well

Thanks guys! One last addon question, I'm on the fence about whether or not to use Nvida Inspector with this GTX 1080 or just stick with the normal Nvidia control panel. Any advice on this?

Just stick with the normal control panel for the time being.
:encouragement:

With a 64 bit sim and that card, you don't really need inspector.

Enjoy your new rig!!

Thanks everyone! Just earlier got my second SSD installed and am now getting my sims back on board and my controllers will be next. Perhaps by this evening I will be up and rolling the virtual skies again!
