Here is one from Walter's category :engel016:

The country of origin should be clearly visible...
Could that be a Baker MB-1 "Delta Kitten"?
Cheers
Carlo
In the improbable case that I might be right would anyone be kind enough to let me know which kind of engine was fitted in?

Ahh - a real Moze special, this is the Schmidt of 1911 from New Jersey. I can't believe it actually flew with those weird props, but it supposedly did !

Well spotted Mike.:icon29:

It was ahead of it's time no doubt. Still trying to figure out what material he used to enclose the nose section.

Over to the lowlands-

Had to be some form of celluloid, which was used for early film stock - and which was also highly flammable!

Here's something (wake up Walter..) a bit later.....

Re: The Schmidt. Carlo, the engine is just ahead of the pilot and connected to the props via chain drive. Not sure the type as I have tried to research this machine without any luck so far.

Hi Mike:encouragement:
Hopefully in time. The Meadowcroft MC-1 Chinook. by William Meadowcroft. Registration N2879D. Flown 1968
Later dismantled to use of parts in his Moonshiner, retaining the same registration.

Mike, thanks for the link with info on Bull Meadowcroft. Seems he was a.o. a nightfighter pilot with Starfire (F-94C) and Scorpion (F-89) time under his belt.
Please see here a bad photo of the Moonshiner. You can tell the familiy resemblence.

My next challenge will folow a.s.a.p.
