I had this beauty setup awhile back with the exhaust smoke effect,recently I reloaded the a/c back into FSX but for some reason the exhaust effect is missing. Is it possible to add back into the a/c folder ?

I have this in the aircraft.cfg for the smoke section: Can I safely assume that you are pressing the I key for the smoke effects?

[smokesystem]

smoke.0= -20.0, 0.00, 0.50, fx_SF86_EngFire // JR
smoke.1= -20.0, 0.00, 0.50, fx_smoke_w

Plugged those lines in with the "I" key command and no such luck, thank you for the suggestion.Pretty sure there is some coding I'm not doing properly ??
 
.... maybe somebody can post a screen shot of the smoke section with the exhaust effect lines in place and I will review it against my present setup ?

Do you have the appropriate effects files in your FSX/Effects folder? fx_SF86_EngFire and fx_smoke_w?
 
I took 2 quick screenshots one without the I key and one with. Copy and paste what, the info I posted? Sure, why not? If you are referring to the effects files, you may need to re-download your aircraft to get them.

....yup doin something wrong, tried copy and paste the text you have posted and it won't copy ?!? Pics look right , for sure ....
