Flight Replicas Bf-109K-4 FSX startup

I've just installed this aircraft in FSX Deluxe Edition, and it's proving a real headache to start. I have tried more than once going exactly by the startup instructions in the supplied manual and get a few kicks and sputters but NEVER an ignition.

I've got enough RW frustrations and headaches without this thing adding to them.

Is there anything I can do that will allow a simple "ctrl - e" start?

It's actually quite easy. On the front panel, on the left hand side, there is a lever (white knob on it) that says m 1- m2 - m1+2, shove that all the way up. Click on the red button right above it. Then push ctrl+e and the engine will start.

Lovely airplane and model. You'll enjoy her a lot!!

You have to find the magneto (M) in the cockpit at your left in dashboard, and turn it in M1+2 before to start (ctrl+e), good flight !

That works very well indeed.

Will the same actions work with all the FR Bf-109 variants?
