Remember in "The Great Escape" where they got that still running at the POW camp? Two of the guys (one of 'em Steve McQueen) each took a healthy hit, and all they could say was a whispered, "Wow!" That's exactly what I said as I looked through all these beautiful repaints.

One of the more succesful designs ever. First flown in the mid 30's, they were still making them in 1945, and the USAF first started using them in 1948. The Argentinians even used them until 1958. Not bad for this beautiful biplane.
It's the Grumman Duck, one of Kermits Weeks first and favorite warbirds, and the model is by Paul Domingue, freely available here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/78461-Grumman-J2F-Duck-quot-Bad-Duck-quot-zip
