Tired of P3Dv4 telling me I am nearly out of fuel

I am a retired Naval Aviator. Yes I know it is just an annoyance, but I am really getting sick of P3Dv4, telling me I am at low fuel state when I get down to 40%. Very unrealistic.Is there a way to get rid of that notification?ATB,Bill
 
Do you have the "User Tips" box ticked? It's on the Options-Information screen, lower right hand corner.

Nothing like me overlooking the obvious. MANY thanks - made my day!

I always select an appropriate amount of fuel for whatever I'm doing. Can't land on "the boat" (aircraft carrier) if you are too heavy. Deck can't handle the impact. There are max landing weights to be observed even for airfield landing. Besides - the bird handles like a relative dog with a full fuel load (smile).
