Flanders Pack Question

Ravenna

SOH-CM-2023
Before uploading the WWI Flanders Pack we would like some feedback/ guidance from potential users.

It is important to acknowledge the authorship of the objects enclose in the pack. Most of these are made by the B24Guy, Allen and Robert John. (Thanks, guys! :encouragement:) One option is to place the files for each object in its own folder, with sub-folders for the scenedb files for that object. This would make it easier to highlight each object for use in other projects.

The other option is to place all the files in folders corresponding to folders in CFS2. So, all the DPs would go into a folder called OBJECTS DP etc. This is probably quicker for installation, but with a bit of a trade-off.

Very interested in your thoughts guys. :indecisiveness:

Ravenna,

If it were me, I would go with the second option. One thing you can also do is use the username "WestFront" that Kdriver asked me to create a while back, and upload it there. That way, you can acknowledge people in the upload description, as well as in the readme. :very_drunk:

I agree with Rami, for I look at the "problem" as a user and not as a designer.

Thanks for all your great work!!!

I am coming around to Kevin's position on this, so I will package files according to their CFS2 folder locations. That said, the readme and accompanying documents already acknowledge the authorship of each object included.

The upload will be a "Westfront" release. A large part of this pack is the work of Kevin Driver.

Hertzie, thanks for your thoughts. I hope you find the finished work useful.

Cheers,
Ravenna
