Why Is It Called SUPER DC-3?

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

I have come across a video about SUPER DC-3. I have never heard of classification SUPER DC-3. What sets SUPER DC-3 apart from DC-3 or C-47??

Look at this SUPER DC-3 landing on water without floats!!

Look in the library and you'll find Manfred's 'Super DC3'.
Also as a C117 or an R4D-8.

That is HECK of screenshots particularly you basically had succeeded in recreating this post's enclosed video!!

Is this Super DC-3 model you are talking about a separate model or is part of model base of Jahn C-47? I want that TransNorthern livery!!

Not the C-47 package, but the C-117 package, which includes the Super DC-3. Here is the link:

Yes 2 days ago, I did download your latest TransNorthern livery dated Aug 26, 2018 but your superb livery is for as in your own words "Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3" yet Scotth6 said Super DC-3 is actually C-117 package that is actually different and seperate model base from C-47.

Please advise or can I use your latest TransNorthern livery dated Aug 26, 2018 on Manfred Jahn's C-47??

It works just fine, Aharon! Although, Jan used "upside down" paint technique on it! I will figure out a way to make it fly "right side up"! :biggrin-new:
