My new favorite "lazy flyer!" Fantastic looks, hands off flying, almost lands itself when flying by the book.

Thank You very much for this classic!

Nice plane guys and thanks for the discount.

I do have one small problem though.
I installed it in P3D v4.5 and on loading I'm getting the following error warnings.

"Error Encountered
The system cannot find the path specified.

Full Error Code 0x3
Location 5
File
SimObjects\\Airplanes\\GAS_WACO_UPF-7\\sound\\Stearman\
SND1.wav"

I get one for each of the .wav's in the sound\stearman folder.

I have P3D installed to D:\Prepar3D v4
and the plane is installed to F:\Games\Flight\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Golden Age
I have an appropriately named folder in Add-ons for each publisher with a custom made xml

I realise that my custom install path may be the problem but its how I like to organise my planes so is there any way I can fix it without having to resort to installing to the default install path ?

DB,

Using Notepad, you need to edit the panel.cfg so that it points to where you have the aircraft installed. Here's an example from my installation. I've commented out the original line and duplicated it with my install location.

//gauge00=GAS_Sound_64!FBGS_XMLSound, 0,0,1,1,SimObjects\\Airplanes\\GAS_WACO_UPF-7\\sound\\Stearman#20
gauge00=GAS_Sound_64!FBGS_XMLSound, 0,0,1,1,D:\P3Dv4 addon aircraft\Golden Age Simulations\SimObjects\Airplanes\GAS_WACO_UPF-7\Sound\Stearman#20

Also, you'll need to edit both panel.cfgs in both panel folders. Panel and Panel.1

Hope this helps.

Mike

Thanks for providing the solution. Its near impossible to provide an installer that covers all contingencies. 80/20 rule. Glad it worked out and apologizes for inconvenience
