• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FR Conversion Textures Now Available; P3Dv.4.5 to P3Dv5

Customers who have the B-24 and DC-4/C-54/Carvair packages in P3Dv4.5, can now convert their aircraft to P3Dv5 whenever they move up, by downloading the bare metal textures for both these packages (no conversion for non-bare metal required).

The B-24 conversion package also includes a replacement panel.cfg.

If you're currently using P3Dv4.5 but will eventually move up to v5, these are all you will need to download to convert these aircraft to v5.

The textures may even enable direct conversion from FSX to P3Dv5, but haven't been tested. As textures for other aircraft are done (if they are done!), it will be announced here.

I need to go find my original installation files. Does anyone know the filenames please, so I can run searches?

I've uploaded v5 textures for the B-24, but I may have to adapt my others Flight Replicas paints....patience please, lots of it..

Can anyone confirm whether the install files contained the string FRE-250 please? I bought my DC-4 for P3D4 from the now defunct FSPilotShop, so I'm trying to relocate the files on my drives.
