• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

...the 1/144th blueprints, please! It looks like I'm trapped...playing Brer Rabbit to the B-25 Tar Baby. :costumes:

...grimacing in pain as Sopwith applies pressure to right arm bent behind back in hammerlock.

B-25D30 export/lend-lease model under construction...

Well, it's hard working...

...with one arm twisted behind your back by a paintbrush-weilding Brit....but we're getting there. :jump:

She's getting there...

...let go of my arm and get your buffer working. :173go1:

This little baby varies from the standard D model in that the ventral turret was not installed, she had a single gun in the tail cone and she had two fixed MGs in the nose beside the bombardier's flexible gun, plus she had two waist guns.

Most of these lend-leasers were ferried to Russia through Alaska and the Aleutians. The Russians simply painted over the US marking and took them to war.

...the 1/144th blueprints, please! .....

Sorry it took all this time TR, but check your e-mail!

I have been veeewy busy this past few days and I had to re-install my table scanner drivers. Since it's an old model, it only runs on a Win98 platform and every so often it gives me hell, but then it still does a fair job.

The first pic attached is the cover of the NAA book I talked about, the second shows when NAA changed exhaust system on the B-25 and the third is just too neat!

Hey SC, how about B-25C "Worth Fighting For" depicted below in the fourth pic, with Op. Torch roundels and nose art?......:d

Cheers!

No resembling needed...

Well, yes...I recognise that....or as my grandfather used to say "I resemble that remark!" Thanks Jim, that looks A1. I can now retire the old stormbird!:ernae:

...I suspect there will be more B-25 versions and skins than you want before it's all over. The old girl has taken on a life of her own, and I am feeling obligated to keep on adding and upgrading to the limit of my ability. I think Sopwith may be in for the long haul too. :faint::faint:
