After SU5 I spend a little more time in MSFS. Hmmm... after one year this plane has still serious bug, even after SU5 .... nobody likes this aircraft here and doesnt report bugs?
Its my favorive from all default (premium version) planes but its still buggy. The one issue is solved now in SU5 (digital indicator, I reported it a long time ago on Zendesk) but it is not everything. :wavey:

I only have the Deluxe package, so I don't have it. The XCub does all I need for that category.
 
I didnt write about the bigger issue in this model before. Ok, I'll explain it now.
The problem is that the model has downgrade speed performance, near twice! In my opinion, the authors did school, the basic mistake, they didnt convert the units and released this model with all the wrong parameters.
Here are speed parameters for Shock Ultra plane (IRL):


  • Maximum Cruise Speed — 112 mph / 97 knots / 180 km/h
  • Cruise at 75% Power — 87 mph / 76 knots / 140 km/h
  • Minimum Flight Speed — 21 mph / 18 knots / 34 km/h

And they did it with those parameters (mph only) .... but nobody (from 1 year also

) noticed that Zlin its a Eurpean construction and the speed gauge has in km/h. LOL! So the model has structular demage at level 110-115 km/h in the sim (like 115 mph!), IRL its about 190 km/h (and above)! You cant fly this bird in MSFS at cruise speed, horizontal level on green arc on speed gauge even. Its impossible to have normal cruise flight at level 140 km/h in the sim (throttle level at 75% of power, you can see it well in the video above at 1:35). Asobo or someone there, made a converter 1 mph = 1 km/h

so we have here a big perfomance mess. Here I explain exactly how it should look like and what speed this plane has. In MSFS its impossible, because the damage to the plane occurs around 115 km/h, which is not true. I think I don't even need to explain it because we have a lot of pilots here and a lot of people know very well what these colored arcs on the speedometer mean.



I'm just surprised it hasn't been reported confidently for so long so here is the reason that nobody likes Ultra Shock

? All those isuues I reported already on Zendesk few days ago. I hope they will fix this in the next bigger update (September). Now we have to fly this model, which has worse parametres than Piper Cub from 1941.
