Revised Pacific Road, River & Coastline Textures

Revised coastline, river and road textures for Pacific. Too much white in my estimation on the original coastline; You have 3 choices there in the World Scenery folder. Rivers and roads a little wider and the river doesn't look like a mudhole.

Enjoy:guinness:

Please be so kind to give the link where I can find these.

hertzie.

Hertzie: sorry I've been away 12 years and don't know how to get it. If you enter the Warbirds Library, scroll down the the Scenery section - the first in the section is scenery and the first entry is mine.
enjoy:guinness:

Thanks all - back to work.:running:

In your readme.txt, you mention MR's "Coast River and Road network". Is this a file that I need to find and download or something that is contained in another file ? Please clarify.

I am also confused about which mesh, coastlines and water masks this is designed to work with - default or Rhumbaflappy or any or all. Again, some clarification would help.

Thanks Psullykeys

Always nice to have some variety to choose from. There's not enough work done with the Sim's scenery textures IMHO:applause::wavey::encouragement:

Especially in the Pacific. Thanks for these, and BTW your pic of your work on Cavite in the Philippines thread looks pretty darn good. Welcome back.

Rohan: these textures only work in the original - non rumba water masks installs. I have mine in the 87days install, since it doesn't use the Rhumba watermasks.

If you have a new install these would replace the originals in the SCENEDB/WORLD/Texture folder.

I should have been more clear. These will not work if your install uses the new watermasks.

Sorry for late reply - real life grabbed me for a while.:guinness:

Pat, thanks for your reply. Could you please also clarify what you meant by your reference to
MR's "Coast River and Road network" ?

Hi Chaps,

Pat's new textures will work with Rhumba's older coast and water files as they work with the default beaches, rivers and roads. Rhumba's water masks only have bare coastlines and river estuaries. They require the default beaches and rivers to be deactivated to avoid double coastlines. We've had to rely on MaskRider and UncleTgt to provide beaches, rivers and roads to the Rhumba water mask scenery.
