A2A WOPIII P-47 Out Now!!!

Hi Jankees

Thanks for asking

To be honest - that is exceptionally well done. If you share it with us i will be my favourite.

Well done

Oh Yea, Jankees, Just a little paint chipping and fading, Looking Great. Waiting to add this to the long list of Jankees Textures in my personal hangar.

Ol' Jarhead :wavey:

OK, since you seem to like it this time, uploading as I type.
Happy flying, and please share a screenshot, OK?

Question about the A2A P-47:

If I don't use accu-sim, is engine management requirements still above and beyond what I've been used to in "pre-accusim" days? Meaning, if I don't use accu sim, will the engine still explode if I don't use it "correctly"?

Or, put another way, without accu-sim, can you still "zoom and boom", "yank and bank" with recless abandon, or will the engine blow up?

Without Accu-Sim you should be able to run this full throttle all day without breaking anything.

Scott.

Jankees, your new weathering technique looks awesome! And that is the perfect paint to give the weathering treatment too, as it just has a look about it.

One question though, where did you upload the paints too? I'm really interested in that black one, but can't find it here or Avsim.

Thanks

They're up on AVSIM. :wavey:

Anybody want to tackle this guy? The top of the wings have the same logo as the bottom, though on the top the center is not painted black, it's just left open with the green running through it. So only the white part of the logo would be painted.

The body color is the same color that comes with the default paints, though since I took the image under incandescent light I tried to remove the extra yellow and orange from it, but I'm no PS expert, so this was the best I could do.

If a larger version of the logo is needed I can provide one, as I have one that's 1100 pixels tall, though all that size does is highlight the printing method. I figured this one would be fine to open in PS and clean up. If nobody wants to tackle it that's no problem, but I thought this one was unique and quite attractive so I wanted to make the images available.

The text above the cockpit is funny: "Originally designed as a lightweight fighter...it was the heaviest single seat fighter of the war".

I finally got the money together and got her and accusim. Only had the chance to fly it once for about 10 minutes, but WOW. I don't know how anyone's going to get me out of that cockpit. Maybe the F-4 will do it.

Awesome
job A2A team. Thanks! :applause::woot: (can't wait to fly her later on today... stupid math class)

Now if you could do the T-6 or T-28 like this...... oh God, I would literally have a heart attack if I saw that LOL:faint:
