FSX keys...

Hiya,

Some time ago there was a post, how you can set several key-binds for MSFS to mimic the FSX key-binds.

Seems not able to find it, also because FSX is a very general term.

Any pointers?

Marcel

What exactally are you trying to achieve? I might be able to help. Over the years I have used many programs to simulate key presses.

Problem you can not export the key-settings from MSFS.
It's for a friend on mine who just started with MSFS from FSX.

I know i've modified several keys and also joystick mapping to get the same effects as in FSX. I know it was from a post overhere.

You can if you use FSUIPC. The config file from FSUIPC(FSX?P3D) can be moved to FSUIPC7 (MSFS). Other key emulation programs like Axis & Ohs and SPAD.Next will also create templates or profiles that can be used to move settings from one computer to another. Both of the above mentioned programs have an extensive online library of different aircraft settings. Be aware, however, that seldom are any of these a perfect fit.

Also, MSFS will automatically populate the various default keys to controllers that are attached to MSFS. It sees most of the Logitech and Honeycomb products, along with many others. The normal axis and buttons are then bound to MSFS.

I hope this helps. let me know if you have any questions.
