Seem to remember a link for a programme to remove trees from around airports. Any idea where I can DL said programme.

Cheers

Steve.

Edit your FSX.cfg file:

TERRAIN_MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=0 //default 4500

Should get rid of a lot of trees.

or: AUTOGEN_DENSITY=0

Should get rid of a lot of trees and tree derivatives.

I want trees but not in my landing zone/path! I like to glide in, not drop out of the sky.

I'LL give utx a look at.

Thing is guys, trees are a very real obstacle at "most" rural airports in real flying! I'll leave mine there.

that's true, but according to fsx, it's traditional to put the tallest tree in town at the end of every runway. i even have a few with the trees growing OUT OF the runway

Do a search for "agexcl5x.zip". This will get rid of the trees at the end of the runway. You may have to reduce autogen to get the full effect.
