• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

OT: What I've realised

I use to say ... "When I was a lad I couldn't believe how stupid my old man was. Now that I've gained a few years, I'm quite surpised at how quickly he got smart!"

:wavey:

By the way, how do you guys measure stupidity on the internet?

By spelling, grammar and use of smileys? Or by the quality of the content?

Usually the age of the OP is enough of a warning :caked:

Im think its aproduct of age and then you get comfitable at a sight and tire quickly of the same ol same ol ....That leads to being intorilable IMO....:ernae:
+1000

see that IRL too.
Being told stories over and over... because the other person forgot she told me that story already - a thousand times before.

STFU beeach.

And if there's no age stated? ;)
Silly questions are a great indicator:173go1:

If I look at myself I must say at young age I was indeed very very cynical and intolerant, the only thing that actually changed is I now believe I became much more tolerant and friendly with growing age and experience. Copletely cool and tolerant now, but why am I bothering with this stupid thread...aaarggghh...wasting my time....:costumes:

Alex

I've become desensitised to cynacism and stupidity by having worked with morons for most of my life!:gossip::costumes:

'State of mind.....'

One can be happy.. One can see the good things in life, see the good in a post..

And one can be angry, upset, short on patience, see the bad things in a post..

There are times when life seems to drag a person down. Perhaps Nick you're just going through a point in life when things appear negative.. It has with me many times, then shortly later, things are back to normal....

:rapture: 'Mr. O'Brian, now would be a good time'
