• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Progress update on the gsl scenery.

Saipan is done. I ended up creating a new "apron" & "ramp"objects for the seaplane base at Tanapag. They are only 0.5m high, so it gives you more options when placing objects on them than the existing 3m high piers.

I had to get creative with Tanapag port. It's too big & the shoreline follows the post-war reclaimed land area. But that would mean redrawing all the LWM polys, & I'm not going to spend time doing that...

Finished the gsl for Iwo.

Maskrider's original gsl was pretty accurate as regards JAP gunpits & defensive positions, I just embellished & added some sparse areas of foliage to the greener bits of the island.

THe pic above shows the sulphur refinery in the centre, with the small sugar refinery rear leftside, & Chidori 2's radio station rear rightside.

Just the package assembly & readmes to do ...

It's been many months since I've posted at SOH as I have been without a rig for my favorite passtime, but had to post my appreciation here UT. You are a CFS2 artist my friend. I hope to be back in the game with a new rig soon, and your scenery updates and enhancements will be the first thing I Check out.

Keep up the fantastic work!
