Windows 11 Update Performance Boost

I've watched that too this morning. But if you look into it, apparently MSFS2020 doesn't support this functionality and it's not even sure that MSFS2024 will.

Not only that, for certain types of hardware, 24H2 is full of bugs. M$ are not rolling it out to everybody just yet because of that. Quite a few things need to be ironed out.

To be truthful, I'm quite satisfied with mt MSFS 2020 as it is. I get a constant smooth 60 fps in rural areas and 40-45 fps in large cities and weather, which I seldom use, because in reality, I'd never fly on a rainy day. And forget all those weather engines and environment programs, if anything they screw up your sim. All I use is REX's Real Global Airports and REX AccuSeason Advanced.

When it comes to a nice quick little Command Prompt program using a .bat file to assist FPS, this is the Champion. All it does is remove all cache files related to MSFS 2020. Try it, I think you'll like it.

Thanks Cazzie. I'm not an FPS chacer, but any tool that empties the different caches in one go is gladly accepted!
