My son and I are at Pearl Harbor for 3 days, the last time it was raining so we missed a few things I've been here many times since 2002 and have met some on the veterans of the attack, sorry to say most have passed on and some are to old to make the trip anymore. One of the veterans was 100 yrs old that I met. They have many events over the days-USS Utah Memorial,USS Oklahoma Memorial and the USS Arizona Memorial.

USS Missouri is worth seeing and touring also.

If you ever have the chance to go to Pearl Harbor,do it,it's worth it.It doesn't matter what time of the year.

The last time I was at Pearl it was during one of the hallmark points. We had finally gotten out to the Arizona and I couldn't believe the silence and the reverence being shown to those entombed there and the site in general. Not a sound could be heard. It was awesome.

Addendum: I sincerely hope that some took the time to remember the events of that day and what it meant in the course of world history
