Jaguar Released to Marketplace!

Jag is out

After months of hard work, our SEPECAT Jaguar* for Microsoft Flight Simulator is released today on Microsoft Marketplace, for PC and Xbox.

We are proud to bring the mythical Jaguar to Flight Simulator, marking a historic moment as the first officially licensed Dassault* military aircraft ever developed for public flight simulation.

This project is the result of over a year of dedicated development, pushing our standards higher than ever. We wanted to create the most accurate and immersive experience, staying true to its unique flight characteristics and operational feel. Throughout the journey, we listened closely to the community, shaping the project based on your feedback. Hence, this add-on features French (A) and British (GR1) external models with 16 liveries, both using an adapted Jaguar A cockpit in this initial release.

Please note that release on third-party stores is planned in approximately one week, we will communicate about it very soon.

Although this version is compatible with MSFS 2020 & 2024, a native 2024 version will be released in few weeks. This add-on will propose more (exciting) features, that you will discover soon! 🎁
You will have the possibility to upgrade to the 2024 package with a (big) discount if you already bought the 2020 version. This is valid for all stores, the only condition being to buy both add-ons on the same store.

Ready to roar through the skies? ➡️ Go get your copy on the Marketplace!

"Oooh, gonna jump on it!"
...a native 2024 version will be released in a few weeks...with a (big) discount if you already bought the 2020 version...
"Oooh, exciting, but totally waiting on the 2024 native version."

I know a bunch of folks still spend more time in 2020, so this release cadence makes sense for them. But if the 2024 version's going to have an upgrade fee, I hope we can get clarity on what that fee will be. If the 2020+2024 upgrade costs the same or less as buying the native 2024 version, I'm in now. But if it's any more, I can wait.

Love Azurpoly's stuff and have all of their 2020 aircraft. But hesitant to leap in without knowing the full upgrade details.

EDIT: $31.99 for the FS2020 version. And it's not showing in the 2024 Marketplace, so those of you who buy it via 2020, let us know if it actually shows up in your 2024 Library.

[JAGUAR] Third-party stores & MSFS 2024

Our Jaguar for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available on two external stores:
- Contrail: https://contrail.shop/collections/azurpoly/products/azurpoly-sepecat-jaguar-msfs-2020-2024
- SimMarket: https://secure.simmarket.com/azurpoly-sepecat-jaguar-msfs2420.phtml

We take the chance to give more details about MSFS 2024.

First, despite some confusion online, this product is fully compatible with FS 2024. After buying it on Contrail or SimMarket, you will be able to install it on both FS 2020 & 2024. If you bought it on the Microsoft Marketplace, you will also be able to fly it in FS 2024, we are currently waiting for Microsoft to make it available in the FS 2024 Marketplace, which can take few days (as usual for any new product).

Secondly, we previously communicated about our native MSFS 2024 Jaguar, which is still under development. This add-on will be a different product, based on the same aircraft, but with a few more features made possible by the new simulator:
- Interactive walk-around actions.
- Better graphic quality (textures, windshield).
- More optimization for performance.
- More realistic hydraulics and fuel systems.
- And a new exclusive weapons systems 🔥, including missile and bomb release, external fuel tank jettison, and a working cannon. All weapons follow realistic trajectories, with smooth animations from the pylon to the impact zone, and accurate visual effects both in-flight and on impact. Please note that the system is purely visual and does not cause actual damage to the environment or other aircraft. Weapons are not shared in multiplayer and cannot aim real targets.

We created a summary table to help everybody better understand what is included or not in each package.
Public price is, for each item, in USD:
- MSFS 2020 Jaguar (compatible with MSFS 2024): $31.99
- Native MSFS 2024 Jaguar: $35.99
- Upgrade to native MSFS 2024 version for MSFS 2020 customers: $4.99

The native Jaguar for FS 2024 is in short final, for a release in a few weeks. We will communicate more about it soon! 🐆

What a great aircraft! I always loved the Jaguar and Azurpoly made a great job on this one!
It flies and look beautifully.

Now available on Simmarket, 29.99 EUR:

When I was with Attack Squadron Fifteen, our Commanding Officer was Commander Byron L. Duff. He was a great skipper and very fair as well. I remembered him today, as I bought the magnificent Azurpoly Jaguar, because Cdr Duff had been a exchange pilot with the RAF, prior to him flying A-7Es. Sadly, Cdr Duff passed away in 2017. RIP sir.

It does look fantastic.
Such a shame the weapons are not part of the FS2020 pack, given it is a close support aircraft.
Will this be the one that drives the fence sitters into the FS2024 abyss?
