We are happy to announce the release of the De Havilland DH.94 Moth Minor, in the MSFS2020 Marketplace.

The Moth Minor was designed as a low-wing monoplane of primarily wood construction, to replace the by then outdated biplane Moth series. The prototype of the DH.94 was first flown by Geoffrey de Havilland on 22 June 1937. Production was interrupted by the start of World War 2, and continued mainly after that in Australia.

The Moth Minor was a very successful design, and popular with flying clubs keen to acquire modern monoplanes. Further aircraft were specially built with enclosed hinged tops for greater comfort, instead of the normally open cockpit, and were known as Coupe versions.

The package includes both open cockpit and Coupe versions. If you can't access the Manual in the aircraft folder, just get in touch with us at support@flight-replicas.com and we'll be happy to send you a copy.”

Totally picking this up as soon as Microsoft randomly decides to make it available in the FS2024 marketplace.

I so wish FR still sold directly or through third-party stores. Just got the Gipsy Moth this week in '24.

It's a beautiful flyer; I have only flown it once. Won't fly it again - damn stupid ground crew and pushback.
I should have known - same thing with their Fox Moth.

Does anyone know if starting at a different spot will help jmbiii? The marshaller and pushback tug do not show up at the fields I fly from, and so I feel it's location/starting spot related.

Depending on the aircraft.cfg-SERVICES section, one can turn on or off the tug and marshaller. I've done it on most smaller GA. However, the aircraft.cfg is encrypted and is not accessible for these two Moths, thanks to MS.

Well, rather than not fly a plane I like at all, I'd just find some grass fields without services in the area I want to fly around. Appropriate for these planes anyway.

Also, drop a note to flight replicas support email. They're very responsive and I'm sure if it's just a cfg update, they could make it to all of their appropriate aircraft whenever they update them for other reasons.

One of the FR beta testers has very kindly agreed to try and see if the [SERVICES] part of the aircraft.cfg can be changed using the same method as repaints can be added to the cfg. No promises, but if it works I'll post it here.

I replied to his message. Perhaps he can find a way to remedy the problem.
Actually, the best solution would be to sell on their website along with MS and not encrypt the files.
I can understand why an entity (FR) would not want to have a retail option on its website. There are most likely more hoops to jump through than being worth it.
