Carenado Cessna 210

SOH-CM-2026
It is out. $20.00 on the Marketplace. I took a quick circuit in the pattern and it flew like I would think a heavy Cessna would fly. I have over a 100 hours in the C-172-182 aircraft and this plane flies like the C-182 with a bit more power, speed and steadiness.

It is an analog panel.

I have a not so small issue with the C-210. The door just pops open on its own. When it happened on the ramp I just assumed it was because, it is hot and muggy in Louisiana this time of the year, and we needed some fresh air. However, when it happens in the air it causes the airplane to crash and restart. Fortunately, you restart at the same position. Still it is a PITA to immersion.

I think it is a cross binding between two controllers, but I'll be darn if I can find it.

I flew a C310 irl (on take-off) where that happened. Loved the look on my brother's face who was in the co-pilot seat when it happened. I kept telling him "just close it, what are you weak?"

LouP

That happened to me, as the passenger in a Piper Seneca V. There is a top latch in the door that I failed to close.

I fixed my C-210 issues. It was a conflict with MSFS's Controller settings and my use a Axis & Ohs. I deleted all the MSFS settings and it now works perfectly.

Happened to me in a Warrior, for the same reason. I pay close attention to that latch in any aircraft with it now.
