T-45C Updated V 1.25

If anyone is interested in having the flap vortices show up when the flaps are full here are the settings I used.

This is for the light section in the aircraft cfg file.

LIGHT.6=9, -4.95, -10.25, -2.45, FX_OV-10FLAPTIP
LIGHT.7=9, -4.95, 10.25, -2.45, FX_OV-10FLAPTIP

Add this to panel cfg file at the end of the Vcockpit01 section.

gauge01=ICFXgauges!OV-10FlaptipLOGO, 3,3,0

You need to have fx_OV-flaptip.fx in your effects folder.

You need to have OV-10FlaptipLOGO.xml in the following ....\gauges\ICFXgauges

I have had these files for awhile. They maybe available at SOH.

Another item corrected in the new version:

When you FSrecorded the older versions and played them back, all of the gear doors would hang down during flight. Now you can fly along with the recordings and see a clean aircraft.

ah that's worthwhile right there. I hadn't noticed with FSRecorder as I haven't used it with this AC yet but I did notice the open doors in the preview screen before the flight which I thought was a little odd.

Roger, That probably came with the Ultimate Terrain X - USA/Canada textures, it is not in the default and AFAIK, I have not downloaded any other textures for the San Francisco area. That is a DX10 shot BTW, I was testing the aircraft to see if it worked in DX10.

Very cool. You say there are gauges or some such you need for flap vortices?
 
There is a gauge(xml) to use to make the flaps display. I can't find my original upload or I would be able to tell you who did it. IIRC I got it from SOH.

Maybe some of the old timers can recall the member who did it.
