This has been available for a while, but is has recently been updated (along with the excellent Auster Autocrat). Both are great for the low and slow, old-school navigation flights.

I love that they both come with tundra tire options (even though they look a bit odd on the Auster.

Does anyone here still remember FSAddon's Bristol 170 Freighter. It was their last and imho best addon. I waited for it eagerly in old P3D times and bought it one release. Would love to get it over here to msfs too. That plane was so ugly that it almost became nice again 😁

This was a fun conversion. It was pretty well modelled (other than the tundra tires), so it was a matter of getting the clickable items clickable, updating textures, lighting, and glass, and then spending a bit of time on the flight model (which was not at all accurate when I started the update, although it could still use some tweaks.) Some of the low-poly meshes were updated as well to round-off the faces a bit. I'll likely revisit this one and add the ski variant.

@jankees I should have known you would have had a series of repaints for this! Beautiful work, as always.

@Killbilly that's a great paint scheme!

Off topic a bit: I'm starting work on my next project. It's a complete ground-up build of another low and slow capable aircraft, and it hasn't seen the light of day in any flight sim other than simple planes (from what I can tell). The only hint I'll provide is that it was a major manufacturers last foray in light aircraft design. I'll be sharing build details in another topic very soon. Stay tuned!

This could be interesting! If the company begins with B I have a manual for it on the computer somewhere!
