If you have Armoury Crate installed on your rig (comes as bloatware with several driver packages), remove it!

Maybe this: I noticed that since the update Nvidia Experience does crash MSFS.

I had repeated CTD (couldn't even complete a load up into the sim) until I rolled back the nVidia driver (to 577.00 in my case).

Delete or move your last addon ? And do all the updates in Msoft Store ~

Thanks for the replies chaps. I still get CTD on a particular flight into San Diego where there is particularly intense cloud activity but otherwise (touch wood) they seem to have almost stopped.

Try that same flight with the clear weather preset. If you still crash, rename the Community folder, restart, and test with a stock plane. If you still get a crash after that, use the Safe Mode start option and try yet again.
