This looks interesting (moving ships w/helipads)

To my mind it seems there is no technical obstacle to GAIST ships having landable decks... it is more a question of resource, in terms of available time and effort on the part of the fantastic volunteers who contribute to it.

Henrik has said that he plans to add landable ships to GAIST in the future. Just a matter of available time... One guy and hundreds of ship models.

I couldn't find them out of San Diego!
Even V2 uploaded shortly after didn't seem to fix it?

Regarding wave and wake effects for ships, I am the one who sent Henrik my work on this subject when I had worked on the Calypso (the boat released in August 2021).
As for landable surfaces on boats, I have some ideas to achieve this but I haven’t had the time to put them into practice yet. I plan to try to do these tests on a French aircraft carrier like the Foch or the Clemenceau (I have very good friends at the RFN).
Then, it will take a lot of work to apply these findings to all the boats that are part of this traffic and that are eligible for this function.

Thanks for your work on those RFN boats. I miss the RFN Crusader and the associated carriers the most in my transition from P3D to MSFS. Having any of those jewels in this sim would be a dream come true.
