Lionheart is releasing an FS2020 version of Bill's Pacer package!

Includes the classic Pacer, Tri-Pacer, a bush version, bush version with STOL mods, and an amphibian. Plus two panels and a bunch of liveries.

Currently only available for FS2020; on Facebook, Lionheart mentioned that the 2024 marketplace is having unknown issues with the plane. Hopefully soon! (If you buy in 2020, it will not currently show up in your 2024 library.)

Can one of our livery whizzes PLEASE replicate this fond memory of my model-building childhood? Bonus points if you can make the sheen look plastic or at least Testors glossy. :)

Ah, finally ! I was waiting for that one ever since MSFS2020 came out.
I had bought that plane for P3D back in the day, but have been unable to properly enjoy it in that sim. MSFS and MSFS2024 are much more suitable for that kind of plane, in my opinion. Can't wait to try it :)
 
And also, if I remember properly, isn't it a Pacer on floats that they use in the "Alaska Floats & Skis" flying school in the videos from Aviation101 and Angle Of Attack youtube channels when they take their float lessons ?
 
Yay! The Tri-Pacer was my go-to GA plane in previous MS sims, and she's been sorely missed.

Does anyone remember the Jules Bergman book Anyone Can Fly? It was an old copy of that book--and the author's travels in a Tri-Pacer--that really got me into flying. Long live the Milk Stool!
 
Bill found a couple of little things to address so had to resubmit it, so hoping this will see the light of day sometime next week. (My optimistic guess, not his! The whims of Microsoft are mysterious and unpredictable.)
 
Here's hoping the PA-20/22 package will be available at other vendors. My dad had a PA-20 and have wonderful memories. I have the FSX version can't wait to fly in MSFS 2020.
 
She's available in the FS2024 Marketplace now as well. @Lionheart -- tagging you as there are questions about it being available in other stores. (Not sure if Bill checks in here anymore.)

For those of you want a visible copilot in the virtual cockpit, here are the lines to add in the LOD0 gltf files of the models:

The same lines will work for all the variants (float, pacer, tripacer and bush).
Be aware that for some variants (maybe all ? not sure anymore), the copilot doesn't appear unless the engine is running, and even at that point, you might have to switch briefly to external view then come back to cockpit before the copilot actually shows. This is because there is some XML code dictating the appearance logic of the pilot and copilot. It doesn't look difficult to remove but I just haven't tried yet :p

In any case, I'm happy my Pacer cockpit is not empty anymore :)

does anyone else feel that the VC is very bright lighting wise for a high wing? I'm trying to figure out if it is just my setup or is an actual thing with this plane... I would also like to alias a different sound set (for immersion) however for some reason when I do so, the plane will not load into the sim (purchased in marketplace). It seems like MS has changed something recently so you can no longer edit/alter Marketplace purchases even if you move the file into the community folder. I have tried to change sounds in the FR P-40 & the Bird dog & they all do the same thing. I use the layout generator which works on other external purchases just nothing that was purchased via marketplace. Will definitely be adding this copilot edit if it works...
