PC-12 Possible Purchase

Boy that harkens back to the problem with early FSX glass screens. On a few payware airplanes I had to turn the glass screens off just to be able to fly without it being a slide show.
I had that issue on Lionheart's Kodiak and Epic and actually edited out the glass screen entry from the panel section on the co-pilot side and that helped a lot.

I am 2020 only - had an abortive trial with 2024 but was it was horrid to run with my internet connection.
Not the right topic for this, but just as an FYI as of SU3 you can now download specific aircraft/scenery/etc. and effectively make 2024 work as well as 2020 even with a bad connection, between downloading airports and setting a good-size cache.

Continuing off topic momentarily (!) Yes I was tracking SU3 and the fact that we can download stuff to hard drive now. At the moment I have 2020 "humming" and really enjoying it. When I did have 2024 in January and when I did manage to start a few flights I was most disappointed in the scenery texture rendering which was probably THE thing I was most looking forward to seeing. This was on the back of the massive marketing and the Grand Canyon launch videos etc. Whilst you got pebbles and rocks when you are on the ground once airborne (from the what I saw back then) the textures and scenic rendering particularly out in the high desert in California/Nevada was worse than 2020. Rock faces where as blurred and as indistinct as 2020. Interested to learn (via a new topic if necessary !) if this has improved now we are on SU3 ?

Definitely SWS. I've used it for a while in 2020. As others have mentioned, it's got decent systems depth and SWS finally got their flight model feeling 'right' with the most recent updates. I believe they're working on implementing an EFB with a future update as well.

There's a decent amount of repaints on .to as well. It also has animated visible passengers and copilot (from the interior view)...if you're into that sort of thing. They can be toggled on & off.

Went for the SWS version and very pleased so far. It's interesting to look on Flight Radar 24 and put the aircraft filter on PC-12 and to see the number of them airborne around the World at any one time - its a popular family of aircraft for sure.
