RF-8 Crusader at the RFN...

Hi,
Since we started to work on Crusader, we always wanted to include the recco versions. Unfortunately it took much more time than we expected, but at least we succeed in finding some room in our "real life agenda"!
I always loved recco airplanes and the RF-8 is one of my favorite one. I don't know why, may be because of "The Final Countdown" movie?!
Here are some screen shots of the on going works which will certainly close the P3D Crusader saga at the RFN!
Regards,
Sylvain

Sylvain,
Really looking forward to this - hope everything is well with you and your team . . .

I hope that too! Sylvain is not too often on this forum, but he has two projects on his plate: the recco variant of the Crusader and the Super-Etendard. There's still growth in this old sim.

Cees, do you recall a RF-8 Crusader released for FSX within the past 2-3 years? Or am I having a "senior moment"??? I thought Roland Laborie may have done it after his F-8E but now I'm not sure. I'd love to see RFN release a FSX version of their planned P3D plane.

I vaguely remember Dean reworking the Alphasim F-8 into and RF-8.

It should be available here.

Priller, thanks for the reply. If that's Dean from DC Designs I just now downloaded his reworked AlphaSim RF-8 from Simviation but haven't installed it yet.
Cees, I'm pretty sure that's the RF-8 I was thinking of. RFN hasn't (yet) come out with a RF-8 aside from their planned P3D version.

Just click on the link in the first page and the you're presented with the follow-up page. Version 1.4, 32 bits, is still there.

Hope this helps.
