Aileron flutter while on the autopilot FS2024

Has anyone experienced this issue while flying on the autopilot? When you turn it off, it stops. It doesn't happen all the time, it appears to be random.

The only airplane I have had this issue with the Shrike F-86.

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

I believe I found the problem, it appears to be in the ai.cfg folder [StickandRudder]

I have about 25 hours now in the F-86 and have not had this issue occur again during my flights after making changes to this file.

Thanks,

Ed

MSFS2024 is an enigma, Ed. We can only hope the code will be cracked before the cows come home.. ;-)

Here is my modified [StickandRudder] file that seems to have eliminated this issue, which I was experiencing on just about every flight in the Shrike F-86. It also solved the S-Turning around 4 degrees left and right of course and the localizer and glide slope issues too.

This needs to be put in your ai.cfg folder. So, make a copy of your original folder as a back up and then edit it by deleting the current [STICKANDRUDDER] with this one. Save it and you are good to go.

It has been tested on several flights which include over 30 hours of enroute time and this issue has not occurred once. It is now a pleasure to take this
F-86 on Transcon flights.

This should work with any airplane that you are experiencing these issues.

Ed
