CFS3 Mission Builder Error

Gonzo1177

Members +
To Fellow SOH'ers,

My apologies for all the questions lately. People have been quite helpful, which I appreciate.
I installed the CFS Mission Builder and when trying to run the exec I get an error stating I'm
missin the following DLL files:
MFC70.DLL
MSVCR70.DLL
MSVCP70.DLL
Apparently these are part of MS C++ Redist 2005 Pkg. So I installed that and still keep getting
the missing file error. Has anybody else experienced this?

Regards,
Gonzo1177

Thank you, Pat. That link you gave fixed it for me. I had seen that those three files were in the main CFS3 game
folder. It makes sense to change the 'Start From' directory address in the MB Executable shortcut.

One thing to add for anyone else having this issue:
If you're wanting the Mission Builder for a different CFS 3 install than the default, you'll have
to install it in the default first, then copy the resulting MB folder over and pasting it in your
other CFS3 install. Be sure to also also copy the MB file from the 'uires' folder in the default
install to your other install 'uires' folder.
Otherwise, you'll get many many missing bitmap file messages.

I think that's what the PK post is saying.
